Structured
wiring is the backbone of your home or office. Every
room that requires connectivity to the central hub gets
at least a basic structured cable install. This cable
includes 2 Cat5e cables and 2 Quad shielded RG6 coax
cables. Twin multimode fiber optic can be added to further
future proof the installation. The Cat5e cable has a
350M bandwidth, allowing large amounts of data to be
transmitted quickly. It can be used for telephone, computer
networking, Infrared transmission, video or audio transmission
and much more. The quad shielded RG6 has a 2Gig bandwidth,
allowing larger amounts of data to move a very quick
rate. It is HDTV rated and can deliver cable TV, & satellite
dish signals. It can be used to send video from a VCR
or DVD player at your entertainment center to any room
throughout your home.
Each room is a direct run back to the
main hub allowing you to designate exactly how each
finish plate is configured. Because the central panel
is a hub, you can alter the use of each port in every
room as the need arises. Once the network of cabling
is installed, all you have to do is choose a feature
you want, by installing a module in the distribution
hub.
We
are an authorized dealer and installer for Future
Smart Corp.
based in Salt Lake City Utah. They are a part of Honeywell
corp. giving them the ability to stay on the cutting
edge of all the new technology, while giving you the
peace of mind that they will be around for a long time
to support your installation There are 2 basic types
of panels to choose form:
The Pro Panel comes in: Pro & Super Pro
versions. The Super Pro version offers additional expansion
slots to add more hubs. They come in 8, 16, 24, & 32
zone panels. Each zone can supply up to 2 locations.
Each structured wire run is terminated inside the top
½ of the panel. Each row designates 2 room locations.
Each port then connects through patch cables to the
appropriate hub below to determine the function of that
port. Different color patch cables can be used to further
simplify the use of each port.
The
Quick Network can is a self-contained panel that has
a finished cover to conceal all of the modules, patch
cords and structured wiring. The same level of technology
that is incorporated in the Pro panel, is in the Quick
Network cans. They come in 18", 36" & 48" size cans
to accommodate any size job. The quick network can is
so designed, that if you ever wanted to upgrade to a
Pro Panel, it installs directly on top of the Pro Panel.
There is a structured wire cable installed
to each location and terminated on a 4 or 6 port finish
plate called F.I.R. the top two ports are for Cat5e,
the center two are for future fiber installations, and
the bottom two are for Quad shielded coax.
