Let
Eagle Computer and Automation Services plan out your
lighting scenes and installations. We install and program
several lighting system components from HAI, Leviton,
and Lutron.
HAI Advanced Lighting Control (ALC) is
intended for installation in homes, which have been
pre-wired for installation of ALC system products. OmniLT,
Omni II, and OmniPro II systems control lights and appliances
by sending commands over the ALC signal wiring to ALC
Switch Modules.
ALC
Switch Modules communicate with the OmniLT, Omni II,
or OmniPro II controller over low voltage signal wire.
They are two-way devices, so the controller always knows
the actual status of the switch. In addition, any ALC
switches can be used to set scenes by triggering macros
in the HAI controller.
Five types are available:
-
Relay Switches for on/off control
of lighting/power loads (i.e. fluorescent lights,
ceiling fans, wall receptacles, etc.).
-
Dimmer Switches are for incandescent
lighting control. These modules are capable of being
dimmed, brightened, set to a level. It is also possible
to ramp the lighting level to a new level at a selectable
ramp rate.
-
Auxiliary Switches are used for
multi-way control of a Relay or Dimmer Switch. This
is a "slave" switch which is directly wired to a
Relay or Dimmer Switch.
-
Program Switches are used for executing
macros within the controller (i.e. lighting scenes,
temperature control, security, etc.).
-
4 Button Scene Switch Modules are
used for executing macros within the controller.
Each 4 Button Scene Switch Module resides on a single
ALC address but can execute up to 4 unique macros.
